Dallas Cowboys News Update To face Jacksonville in preseason game; winner definite 2023!

Zack Martin, the Dallas Cowboys’ best player, was absent from the first mock game of the 2023 season. Martin, an All-Pro guard and current contract holdout, was not present at the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Martin should stay on his couch until the team offers him the new contract he desires.

Josh Ball, a third-year Marshall athlete, replaced Martin as right guard, while Matt Farniok, a seventh-round draft selection from the University of Nebraska, filled the other guard position. Martin would have been a member of his seasoned teammates who sat out Saturday’s 28-23 loss.

The Cowboys’ controlled scrimmage against the Jaguars featured numerous “Don’t look at it!” moments, such as the kicker failing to make an extra point and Will Grier’s backup failing to make an extra point.

Coaches may accidentally destroy the video instead of continuing to watch, and Farniok, a swing guard/tackle, will be treated similarly.

The Cowboys have not made any moves to give tackle Matt Martin a raise before the regular season begins. The 6-foot-8 tackle, who hasn’t played guard since high school, was forced into the position and admitted to having things to work on.

He has not been with the team since the start of training camp last month, and missing even one day of camp while on strike carries a fine of $50,000. Martin’s new contract will make up for his losses, and he earns $14 million annually.

Martin would have joined his other seasoned teammates who sat out Saturday’s 28-23 loss if he had not been holding out.

Manziel was devastated when the Cowboys passed him, but he played 14 NFL games and was selected seven picks later by Cleveland. Martin, 32, has a good chance of entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He has three to four more seasons left, if his health holds. Jerry Martin, known for making composed, menacing noises, has learned to “move on” in similar situations. He is more like Greg Ellis and Zeke than any of the Cowboys

In 2006, Ellis considered switching from defensive end to linebacker under coach Bill Parcells, seeking a restructured contract. After a confrontation with Jerry Jones, Ellis eventually understood. Zeke, a stubborn player, refused to participate in training camp in September 2019.

The Cowboys ultimately chose to win, and his holdout did not cause him to miss a single game. The situation with Zack Martin will impact Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, and others, as seen in the preseason game. Zack doesn’t have to leave the couch before being offered a new contract.
